Extracurriculars
** Most prominent**
Gymnastics
My primary extracurricular outside of school is competitive gymnastics. I have been in the sport since the age of 7, and through gymnastics I have traveled to competitions in Virginia Beach, Dallas, Reno, Las Vegas, and Daytona Beach. In 2019, 2020, and 2021, I qualified for the Junior Olympic Nationals where a select number of gymnasts are chosen from New England to compete at the highest level.

Junior Project: Case Study on the practices of Chinese gymnastics training facilities on adolescent physical and emotional health.
Model United Nations
Model United Nations is a club in which students from around the world represent different countries and discuss global issues. The delegations must come to a resolution by the end of the conference.Through these events, I have been able to build on my public speaking skills and work with others to create resolutions. I currently co-lead the Model UN team at Watkinson.
Jewish Youth Climate Movement
The JYCM is a Gen Z-led movement dedicated to combating climate change and environmental injustice from a Jewish lens. Our goal is to empower teens, mobilize communities, and take actions to combat the climate crisis. I am currently Director of Equity and Inclusion on the Executive Board, as well as a member of the Policy working group.
Religious Action Center of Reform Judaism
Just prior to the 2020 election, I participated in a social justice fellowship on civic engagement with the Religious Action Center of Reform Judaism (RAC). Over the course of the fellowship, I honed my skills on how to become an active leader, through starting a campaign to increase voter registration. During the spring of 2021, I also participated in a Racial Justice Fellowship with the RAC. Through this fellowship, I was able to spread awareness and learn more about the roots of racism in America.
Co-teacher, Congregation Beth Israel
As an active member of my synagogue, I am co-teaching a class with my Rabbi, focused on relationships and understanding the text of the Torah. I am always interested in learning more about my religion, and this was one way to help students to gain a deeper understanding of the Jewish religion.
